Ten West Center for the Arts is pleased to host a FREE event on National Dance Day 2013. National Dance Day is Saturday July 27, 2013 from 3pm-8pm
Dance day, created by Nigel Lithgow of “So You Think You Can Dance” and the Dizzy Feet Foundation, promotes exercise
There are two dance routines posted on the Dizzy Feet website that the public are encouraged to learn and perform on dance day. We will be walking through the zumba routine and performing it as a flashmob at the end of the day!
At our event, all throughout the afternoon, local dance and music acts will shine on our outdoor stage and entertain. Between sets, volunteers will be teaching the dance routine for the flash mob to occur at the end of the night.
Kids will be able to play video games in the media tent like “Dance Dance Revolution” and “Just Dance”. Food Vendors will be on site and there will be a cooling station to keep every one nice and refreshed. . Good dancing, music, and food, Ten West’s Dance Day event is not to be missed!
Learn the Flashmob Routine!
Stacey Poe and Friends will be on-site all afternoon teaching the routine.

Mixing the sweet, sultry acoustic melodies with the grit and powerful vibes of intricate electric/full band sound as well as feminine vocals, There Was Eden gives the Indie music scene something not often seen today. By releasing their 8 track debut EP entitled, “Wheresoever She Was” in July of 2013, the band plans to continue to grab the attention of listeners with their emotion and keep them with their passion and dedication.
